First Presbyterian Church of Carson City - Mission and Vision

Our Mission as God’s people is to daily seek to respond in word and action to Jesus’ great commission: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20

Our Vision is to open the gospel to Carson City and beyond.  While we are still discovering what this means, it surely seems we are to be out in the community more, perhaps to support other congregations, plant new churches, offer public service outreach, connect with other ministries in our community and beyond.
